Reverend Carlea Jordan is a dedicated shepherd, preacher and teacher of the Word and disciple of Jesus the Christ with a heart for serving others. Carlea earned her Pastoral Care credentials as a chaplain in the Baptist Healthcare System. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Auburn University Montgomery and earned her MDiv from Beeson Divinity School of Samford University. She is pursuing a PhD at Auburn University. With a background in theology, education and pastoral care, Carlea brings warmth, wisdom, and compassion to her role as the pastor of St. Paul UMC Pensacola. Her engaging sermons and authentic leadership style foster a thriving and engaged community of believers. Carlea's commitment to discipling believers, spreading love, hope, and spiritual growth has made her a respected figure both within congregations she has served and in the broader community. She believes in the transformative power of faith and strives to empower individuals to live out their God-given purpose with faith, connectedness, courage and compassion. Carlea is married to Sam, a master mechanic and successful small-business owner. They are the proud parents of one adult daughter.
